Tanzanian FA Cup champions Azam FC have been paired with Simba SC in the quarter-finals of the competition.
In a draw conducted on Friday in Dar es Salaam, Wekundu wa Msimbazi will have to get past the champions to get a chance of winning a double this season.
It is the third time the two teams are meeting; the Msimbazi based side won the first two meetings 1-0 and 3-2 respectively.
The winner will play either Yanga SC or Kagera Sugar who are battling out in another last eight tie.
The Sugar Millers won the last meeting 3-0 and the Jangwani based side have a perfect moment to avenge the loss.
Namungo, who are fourth in the league, will play relegation threatened Alliance.
The other match will be between minnows Sahare All-Stars who will play top tier side Ndanda FC.
The matches will be played on June 27/28.
Meanwhile, the Tanzania Mainland League will resume on June 13 with the fixtures set to be released on Sunday May 31.
Before the league break in mid-March, most teams had played 28 matches.
