Harambee Stars coach Jacob Ghost Mulee has named his provisional 28-man local-based squad for non-residential training ahead of the 2022 Afcon qualifier against Egypt.
After showing his quality in the BetKing Premier League, KCB goalkeeper Joseph Okoth has been rewarded with a call-up alongside Peter Odhiambo of Wazito and James Saruni of Ulinzi Stars.
Nahashon Alambi of KCB has also been included alongside Michael Kibwage of Sofapaka.
The midfield has the likes of Collins Shichenje who has shown tremendous improvement this season, alongside Lawrence Juma, John Macharia and Michael Mutinda.
Erick Kapaito, who has so far scored 11 goals in the league, is in the mix alongside Elvis Rupia who has scored 10. Tusker hot-shot Henry Meja has also been given a chance.
Kenya will play the Pharaohs on March 22 at home before playing Togo away eight days later in Group G of the qualifiers. Kenya are on three points after four games; Egypt and Comoros take the first two positions.
