Tusker FC humbled Kariobangi Sharks 4-2 in a BetKing Premier League tie played on Saturday at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.

Prior to the game, the Slum Boys had tasted no defeat in their seven games played and came into the match aiming at extending their run. However, they were not going to get it easy against the prepared Brewers.

In the 26th minute, the hosts scored their first goal through Brian Marita who headed in a Rogers Aloro free-kick.

Five minutes later, Sharks conceded a penalty when Monyi was brought down in the danger zone. Henry Meja made no mistake from 12 yards.

In the 32nd minute, the William Muluya-led team scored their second goal courtesy of Erick Kapaito who finished off a James Mazembe pass. But nine minutes later, Marita completed his brace after a good pass by Meja.

Despite Aloro being sent off, Tusker continued ‘intoxicating’ Sharks and it was no surprise when Meja scored his second. Kapaito also managed to get his brace to take his tally of the season to 11, but the damage had already been done.

At Mbaraki in Mombasa, Bandari defeated their visitors Kakamega Homeboyz 4-3 to move fourth on the table.

The Dockers scored their goals through Harambee Star Abdallah Hassan, who scored a brace, William Wadri and Yema Mwana. Moses Mudavadi replied with a brace for the Western-based side with Aston Esiye scoring the third.

However, Bandari had to finish the game with 10 men after a red card to Wadri in the first half.

At Sudi Stadium, Sofapaka handed Nzoia Sugar their first win this season after 2-1 loss.

Leonard Kasembeli and Erick Otieno were on target for the Sugar Millers while Lawrence Juma replied for Batoto ba Mungu. The latter was eventually sent off with seconds to go.
