Nzoia Sugar reclaimed their FKF Premier League leadership  after a 2-1 comeback win over  Ulinzi Stars at the Ulinzi Sports Complex on Saturday.

Boniface Muchiri gave Ulinzi Stars the lead in the 10th minute and the soldiers held onto it till the 84th minute when Nzoia Sugar’s Boniface Kweyu leveled the scores via a penalty.

Two minutes later, Esekon Emmanuel netted the winner for Nzoia Sugar, sealing a return to the top.

Elsewhere, an Elvis Rupia first-half hat trick gave Police FC a 3-0 win against Tusker FC at MISC Kasarani.

At the Utalii Grounds, Kakamega Homeboyz trounced Mathare United 5-1.

Kakamega Homeboyz Moses Shumah and Isabwa Michael both scored two goals a piece in the free-scoring performance to give the hosts a 4-0 lead.

Joseph Odhiamho scored a consolation for Mathare from the penalty spot before Chala Brian sealed the win with the 5th goal in the second half.

On Sunday, the headliner fixture of round 13, the Mashemaji Derby, takes center stage at Nyayo Stadium.
