Sofapaka have strengthened their squad with the signing of Joseph Waithera and David Nshimirimana from Wazito FC and Buildcon FC respectively.

The team is aiming at finding replacements for the nine players recently released, including team captain Eli Asieche who has since joined Wazito FC. The two players have been signed to help the team challenge for the FKF Premier League title this season.

“Yes, we have signed Waithera and Nshimirimana to bolster our attack and defense respectively,” club president Elly Kalekwa told SPORTS AFRICA.

“They are good players with massive experience and I know they will give us the value we need especially in ensuring the team pushes for top honors.

“Waithera is a proven player in attack and Nshimirimana is a quality defender with international experience. It is for this reason we have handed the a two-year deal.”
