Football Kenya Federation has set the dates for the Kenyan Premier League and National Super League promotion and relegation playoff pitting Kisumu All Stars and Vihiga United.
The first leg will be played at the Mumias Sports Complex on Friday, October 30, 2020, while Kisumu’s Moi Stadium will stage the second leg of the tie on Tuesday, November 3.
Vihiga United is desperately yearning to play in the country’s top flight league after impressing in the lower division last season.
The club sponsored by Vihiga County government accumulated 35 points in the 2019/20 National Super League, finishing third behind the already promoted Nairobi City Stars and Bidco United respectively.
Meanwhile, Kisumu All Stars is fighting tooth and nail to avoid demotion after finishing a spot above the automatic relegation zone in the premier league last season.
The lakeside outfit finished 16th in the 2019/20 FKF Premier League.
Kenya’s FA in conjunction with the country’s league organizers, Football Kenya Federation Premier League anticipate football action to return on the weekend of November 20, ushering in the new FKFPL 2020/21 campaign after releasing the league fixtures earlier this month.
