Four-time African champions Ghana will play against Nigeria in the third round of the Qatar 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers, according to a draw held in Cameroon Saturday.

The Black Stars will host the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the first leg in Ghana before playing away in the return encounter.

According to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the qualifiers are expected to come off between March 23 to 29. A total of 54 African countries and regions began the world cup qualifiers from the first round untill 10 teams made it to the third round of the qualifiers.

The winner of the encounter will join four others to participate in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup scheduled for November this year.
