Tanzania Football Federation and the Tanzania Premier League Board have released fixtures for the top tier matches.
The Tanzania Mainland League and other games were given the green light by President John Magufuli to resume from June 1 and the league managers confirmed the matches will be played from June 13.
The first match will be between 27-time champions Yanga SC who will be away to Mwadui FC. This was a postponed matchday 17 game which was brought about by Yanga’s involvement in continental assignments.
It was scheduled for April but did not take place owing to Covid-19 outbreak; the match will now be played at Kambarage Stadium.
On the same day, Coastal Union will be playing Namungo who have had a stellar season. The match will be played at Mkakwani grounds from 1600 EAT, same as the aforementioned match.
On June 14, league leaders Simba SC will play Ruvu Shooting at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam while second placed Azam FC will host Mbao at their Azam Chamazi Complex.
Yanga will be in action again on June 17 against JKT Tanzania at Jamhuri Stadium.
The matches will be played on a home and away basis. Ten rounds are remaining in the current campaign.
