Juventus put on a vintage performance on Friday as they registered a 4-0 drubbing over Empoli in Serie A with Adrien Rabiot bagging a brace.

The Bianconeri had a shaky start this season, as they ranked eighth before Friday’s game and were on the edge of elimination in the Champions League.

Juve had an aggressive start when Moise Kean scored the opener in the eighth minute on Filip Kostic’s cross. The home side doubled the lead in the 56th minute when Juan Cuadrado’s corner set up Weston McKennie to steer in a header, before Rabiot completed a late brace to seal the win.

The second consecutive win saw Juve provisionally climb to seventh, one point ahead of Inter Milan.
