The world’s finest athletes have started jetting in for the fourth edition of Kip Keino Classic Continental Tour slated for May 13, 2023 at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani in Nairobi.

Athletics enthusiasts worldwide  will quickly shift focus from the concluded 2023 Wanda Diamond League in Doha to Kenya’s capital for yet another epic, eye-catching showdown as the global stars compete for top prizes in different disciplines.

Over 200 athletes will converge in the rainy city of Nairobi on Saturday for the event as notable figures started arriving in Kenya last night.

Reigning world javelin champion Anderson Peters, 100m world leader Sha’ Carri Richardson,100m Olympic silver medalist Kenneth Bednarek, Terry Twanisha (100m) , Kyra Jefferson (200m), Kyree King (200m), Aaron Brown (200m), Teahna Daniels (100m) and Jerome Blake (100m) are already adopting to the climate in Nairobi ahead of the Continental Tour.

Meanwhile, in a bid to attract numbers to Kasarani, the Kip Keino Classic Continental Tour organisers have announced that  entry to the facility will be free.

Fans’ favourite and African champion Ferdinand Omanyala will be seeking to defend his men’s 100m title as he aims to set a new record on home soil.
