Organizers Wednesday announced that  Spanish tennis sensation Rafael Nadal will play an exhibition match in Ecuadorian capital Quito in November.

The clash against a yet-to-be determined opponent will take place at the 15,000-capacity Ruminahui Coliseum on November 27, according to former Ecuadorian tennis player Nicolas Lapentti, who is coordinating the event.

“The Latin American public has always welcomed me and it will be special for me to visit this country for the first time,” Nadal said in a video shown during a press conference.

“I would love to have more time to visit the country in the future. We will leave the Galapagos Islands for the next one. I hope the day of the match will be an unforgettable day.”

Nadal, who is currently third in the ATP rankings, is currently preparing for the US Open, which will run from August 29 to September 11.
