Former Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne has been appointed the new Equatorial Guinea tactician.

The Frenchman was shown the door by Football Kenya Federation after a dismal performance in the 2019 Afcon in Egypt as well as failing to guide the national team to 2020 Chan competition to be held in Cameroon.

The 46-year-old has now confirmed through his official Facebook page that he has started a new journey.

“New mission, new country, new challenge coming up. Official, I am the new head coach of Equatorial Guinea,” Migne posted on his wall.

The first task for the coach will be to help the West African country to qualify for the 2021 Afcon.

Equatorial Guinea is in Group J with Tanzania, Libya, and Tunisia and they will open their account on the 15th of this month at National Stadium against Taifa Stars.

The National Thunder will host Tunisia on the 19th at home and coach Migne targets maximum points from the two games.
