Watford boss Javi Gracia has warned that they are capable of upsetting Manchester City in the today’s FA cup final at Wembley.

Watford finished 11th in the league, 48 points behind City but Gracia has in the past masterminded a famous win at Spanish giants Barcelona in 2015 when in charge at Malaga.

“We’re going to create chances and if you score like we did when I was in Malaga playing against Barcelona, for example, we won 1-0.

“It was something nobody expected, but it happened and then always you have one chance to win and we have to work for it.

Watford captain Troy Deeney is adamant the FA Cup still has it’s old magic.

Deeney and Watford are rank outsiders against Manchester City for today’s final.

The Watford captain described the tournament as “our competition” and said it was a trophy he would love to lift up.

“Swansea nearly took Man City out. If they had VAR it could’ve been a different game so you have to respect it and again this is our competition so there’s no point talking about the Champions League and all of those things that they’re trying to do with that, this is our competition let’s enjoy it and let’s make it as good as it is.”
