Double Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge has launched a fully-equipped educational library in Kapsisiywa High School bearing his name.
The marathon icon described the project as key in the campaign of education empowerment to the general public.
“Education is key for development and it also spurs growth and development in different spheres of life. I am really proud to have opened Eliud Kipchoge Library , where people through all walks can come together,” Kipchoge said on Monday.
“In this library, everyone can get knowledge in a personal and professional way. It will bring the community together, creating unity and sharing knowledge. Together we can create a bright future.”
