In a classic case of give and take, Football Kenya Federation has awarded Wazito FC three points then docked the same in the latest drama synonymous with Kenyan football.

Wazito benefited from the arborted National Super League match with Shabana FC where the latter protested a late equalizer before the match was stopped at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii.

After consultation, FKF found Shabana in breach of rules and awarded the former Kenyan Premier League side, who are fighting for their promotion back to the top tier, three points.

But the same axe fell on Wazito when they were deducted the same number of points for fielding an ineligible player in a clash against Kisumu All-Stars in the round of 28 matches played on April 21st, 2019.

Wazito had fielded midfielder Teddy Osok who had accumulated five yellow cards and was set to miss the match with suspension with Kisumu All-Stars successfully lodged a complaint with FKF.

Meanwhile, another KPL coach found himself jobless in the latest ‘reshuffling’ of coaches by clubs.

Western Stima have fired coach Paul Ogai and replaced him with former Sony Sugar head coach Salim Babu.

Babu, who resigned as Sony Sugar coach late last season following a series of poor performance with the Millers, has been out of active football for close to one year.

Ogai, on the other hand, guide Stima back to the KPL but found it tough navigating the top tier despite a relatively good start to the season.

Stima join the list of clubs who have changed coaches in the last couple of weeks. Others are Zoo Kericho and Vihiga United who have also parted with their coaches.
