Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia have set their eyes on Alliance FC defender Geoffrey Luseke.

The powerful defender has been in a good form for the Tanzania Mainland League side and has attracted a number of suitors. One of the teams that is desperate for the versatile full back is the 18-time KPL champions.

“Gor Mahia have shown keen interest for Luseke’s services, they have already talked to me but we have not reached any agreement,” Mohammed Hamisi who is the player’s agent said was quoted by the Daily News.

“I have also received offers from teams in Zambia but I will only go with those who are ready to give us what we are asking for,” he said.

Luseke’s contract with the Mwanza-based side will expire by the end of June but he has already made it clear he will not extend it.

K’Ogalo have two Tanzanians in their squad already -David Mapigano and Dickson Ambundo.

However, the former has insisted he will not be returning to the club if his dues are not settled. It is the same case with Ambundo who is reportedly a target for Yanga SC.

Gor Mahia are currently under tough financial constraints and have not paid the players for several months. Whether they will manage to get a sponsor before the start of the new season is subject to discussion.
